Why do we focus on our use of
real people in the loan selection process? Because many of the larger loan brokers consist of individual franchised businesses, operated by people who rely too much on pre-packaged loan selection software.
We're not a franchised business
Selling home loans or selling a franchise?
Some of the major loan broking groups sell more than home loans - they sell franchises (they
usually have a section on their web sites with information on how to buy a mortgage franchise).
No experience necessary!
In fact, one major mortgage broking franchise tells potential franchisees that a loan broking franchise can be purchased with
"No financial experience necessary". Inexperienced brokers need not be concerned about their lack of experience because the franchisor provides
"software that matches consumers with the most appropriate products and lenders" (See our

The franchisee gains accreditations with the help of the franchisor, and is then ready to work with clients.
Making a real difference
While computers are helpful for comparison purposes, none of our personal lending managers rely on computer programs to
"match" clients with loan products. Our clients make
their own choice of loan product, with assistance from an experienced professional.
Banking industry experience
Our personal lending managers are drawn from the banking/finance industry, and all have had experience in the industry before becoming accredited with Lawfund Australia. They use the latest computer programs for the purposes of comparing one loan product with another, but the process of actually choosing a loan product is very much a "hands on" process.
When selecting the most appropriate loan product it is important that you have access to a professional who understands your questions and can relate your needs and concerns. This human factor cannot be dealt with by way of a simple questionnaire and the click of a mouse button.
